Tom Grejs
Tom Grejs is a Swedish writer, director, and producer born in 1985 in Bjursås, Falun, Dalarna.
After early work in action sports filmmaking and directing short films including Unfortunate and Truth or Dare, Grejs studied Screenwriting for Film and Television at the University of Dalarna.
In 2011, Grejs co-founded Stratos Cinema with fellow Falun filmmaker Martin Flink, establishing a successful production company, where he has produced and directed over 300 commercials and branded content pieces.
In 2015, he began developing the survival thriller screenplay "Alone on a Plane," which evolved into Drifting in Silence – marking his feature film debut as both writer and director. Produced through the newly formed Dales Studios, the film was shot in 2021-2022 and is slated for a 2026 release.
Martin Flink
Martin Flink is a cinematographer, producer, and editor from Falun, Dalarna.
His passion for filmmaking began at the age of 14 when he received his first dv-camera.
He later studied Media Production – Moving Image at Dalarna University (2007–2010) and has since worked full time as a film maker.
In 2011, he co-founded Stratos Cinema together with Tom Grejs to pursue their own film projects. Almost ten years later, during the pandemic, Tom completed his first feature screenplay. This marked the beginning of their shared journey toward making their first feature film.

Dales Studios is an independent film production company based in Dalarna, Sweden, founded by filmmakers Tom Grejs and Martin Flink. Rooted in the landscapes and creative culture of central Sweden, the studio focuses on visually bold, emotionally resonant stories told with honesty and cinematic precision.
With backgrounds in commercial and documentary filmmaking, the founders bring over 15 years of experience and a commitment to realism, craftsmanship, and creative integrity. Drifting in Silence marks Dales Studios’ first feature production — a debut that reflects the company’s vision: to create independent films that stay with the audience long after the screen fades to black.
